- need some sort of console you want to stream
- probably want an hdmi splitter1
- after initial tests, i realized the audio and input lag would be too much to bear, at least for fps' like halo infinite
- research pointed me to using a powered hdmi splitter1
- signal may drop if you aren't using a self-powered hdmi splitter, or other issues may occur
- splitter needs to support bandwidth of 18Gbps if you want to use hdmi 2.0 and 4k 60hz hdr or 2k 144hz
- one hdmi output would lead to my second 4k monitor
- one hdmi output would lead to the capture care (elgato camlink 4k)
- needs to be powered, otherwise things may not work as desired
- connect all devices accordingly
- setup obs, add elgato camlink as a video capture device
- also supports additional webcams, if so desired
